Opened in October 2008 to worldwide acclaim, Pineapple Valley Golf Club Hua Hinwas named Asia’s best new course in 2009. Boasting panoramic ocean and mountain views, pineapple patches, bougainvillea beds and of course, Banyan trees, come into play on this hillside course.

Black Mountain was transformed from lush jungle and pineapple plantations and located around 25 minutes west of Hua Hin. The Championship is a 72-hole Individual Stableford competition played over four rounds. Players in designated A Grade divisions are also eligible to compete in the 72-hole Gross Championship.
Players will compete over one round at each of the four host golf courses.
Morning and afternoon tee times are available each day, subject to availability. While every effort will be made to accommodate preferred start times, these cannot be guaranteed.
The Championship is conducted in age and handicap divisions to ensure players compete with golfers of similar age and ability.

Handicap grades (A, B and C) will be determined once entries close.
Maximum handicaps:
Players with a handicap above the maximum permitted will compete using the applicable maximum handicap.
Please note that age divisions and handicap grades may be adjusted by the Tournament Committee depending on final entry numbers.
Championship trophies are awarded to the first and second placed players in each age and handicap division based on the highest aggregate Stableford score over four rounds.
Gross Championship trophies are awarded to the winner of each Gross division.
Players may receive only one Championship trophy.
An official handicap is required to be eligible for Championship trophies.
Players without an official handicap are welcome to participate as Social Golfers. Social Golfers will be placed in a suitable playing division where possible and remain eligible for daily technical prizes and raffle draws.
The World Handicap System™ (WHS) is used to calculate each player’s daily Course Handicap based on the course and tee allocation for each round. Daily handicaps are displayed on each player’s scorecard.
2027 Centara World Masters Golf Championship
Terms & Conditions
1.1 The 2027 Centara World Masters Golf Championship (“Championship”) will be conducted under the management and control of the Tournament Committee, comprising Go Golfing and Golfasian.
1.2 The Tournament Committee’s interpretation of these Terms & Conditions and all decisions relating to the Championship shall be final.
Entries & Payments
2.1 Entry is open to amateur golfers who meet the Championship eligibility requirements.
2.2 Entries are subject to availability. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to refuse or close entries once the Championship has reached capacity.
3.1 A deposit of THB 20,000 or AUD $1,000 per person must accompany each entry.
3.2 Full payment must be received no later than 15 April 2027.
4.1 Cancellation requests received in writing on or before 15 April 2027 will incur a THB 2,000 administration fee, together with any unrecoverable costs incurred under supplier contracts.
4.2 Cancellations received after 15 April 2027 may incur charges of up to 100% of the event fees, depending on the amount recoverable from suppliers.
Championship Format
5.1 The Championship is a 72-hole Individual Stableford competition conducted over four rounds on:

6.1 Players will compete over:
6.2 Course allocations and tee times will be finalised and distributed by 1 June 2027.
6.3 Playing partner draws will be conducted separately for each round and issued during Tournament Registration in Hua Hin.
6.4 While every effort will be made to provide friends with similar tee times each day, the Tournament Committee cannot guarantee that they will play the same golf course.
6.5 The Tournament Committee will assess course conditions by 1 May 2027 and reserves the right to substitute or amend tournament venues should any course not meet the required Championship standard.
7.1 Championship age divisions will be determined based on final player numbers and confirmed by 1 May 2027.
7.2 Players must satisfy the relevant age requirement as at Monday 7 June 2027, being the first day of Championship play.
Handicaps & Scoring
8.1 To be eligible for Championship trophies and major prizes, players must hold a current official handicap issued by a recognised golf club or authorised handicapping authority.
8.2 Players without a verified handicap are welcome to participate as social golfers.
8.3 Social golfers will be allocated to an appropriate playing division where practical and remain eligible for daily technical prizes (such as Nearest the Pin) and raffle prizes but are not eligible for Championship trophies.
9.1 The World Handicap System™ (Slope Rating System) will be used to calculate each player’s daily Course Handicap.
9.2 Daily handicaps will be based on the course and tee allocation for each round and displayed on each player’s scorecard.
10.1 The Tournament Committee has more than 30 years’ experience managing international amateur golf tournaments and may review player handicaps throughout the Championship to ensure fair competition.
10.2 Handicap adjustments may be made after any round based on factors including, but not limited to:
10.3 All handicap decisions made by the Tournament Committee are final.
Prizes & Awards
11.1 Championship trophies will be awarded to the first and second placed players in each age and handicap division based on the highest aggregate Stableford score over the four Championship rounds.
11.2 Gross Championship trophies will be awarded to the winner of each Gross division.
11.3 Players may receive only one Championship trophy.
12.1 Teams must consist of a minimum of five players to be eligible.
12.2 In each Championship round, the five highest Stableford scores from each team will count.
12.3 The team with the highest cumulative score after four rounds will be declared the Champion Team.
12.4 The winning team will receive a USD $5,000 travel credit, shared equally amongst eligible team members.
12.5 Travel credits may be redeemed on future Go Golfing or Golfasian tours, holidays and events and are subject to separate Travel Credit Terms & Conditions.
13.1 The Major Prize Draw will be conducted on Friday 11 June 2027 at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin.
13.2 All registered golfers and non-golfing partners are eligible to enter.
13.3 Individual prize terms and conditions may apply.
14.1 All prizes will be awarded in accordance with the current Rules of Amateur Status.
Rules of Play
15.1 All Championship rounds will be conducted in accordance with the current Rules of Golf as published by The R&A together with any Local Rules approved by the Tournament Committee.
16.1 Distance Measuring Devices (DMDs) are permitted during Championship rounds in accordance with the Rules of Golf.
17.1 Players are expected to maintain the pace of play established by the Tournament Committee.
17.2 Penalties may be applied for unreasonable delay or slow play in accordance with the Rules of Golf and any Championship Pace of Play Policy.
18.1 Players are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous and sportsmanlike manner throughout the Championship.
18.2 The Tournament Committee reserves the right to warn, penalise or remove any participant whose behaviour is considered unacceptable or brings the Championship into disrepute.
Weather & Event Changes
19.1 If adverse weather or other circumstances prevent all players from completing a Championship round under comparable conditions, the Tournament Committee may cancel that round.
19.2 Should a round be cancelled, the Championship will be reduced accordingly.
19.3 No refunds will be provided for cancelled Championship rounds.
20.1 Should any scheduled function be affected by inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, alternative arrangements may be made where practical.
21.1 The Tournament Committee shall not be responsible for cancellations, schedule changes or alterations resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, industrial action or other force majeure events.
Media & Privacy
22.1 The Tournament Committee may photograph, film and otherwise record the Championship before, during and after the event for promotional, marketing, editorial and historical purposes.
22.2 By entering the Championship, participants consent to the use of their name, image and likeness across print, digital, broadcast and social media without compensation.
23.1 By entering the Championship, participants consent to their preferred name, surname and home golf club being displayed on official Championship websites, leaderboards and results.
23.2 Participants may request removal of this information by contacting register@thailandworldmasters.com.
Golf Cart Use
24.1 Players operating a motorised golf cart confirm they hold a current driver’s licence and have previous golf cart driving experience.
24.2 Drivers are responsible for operating golf carts safely and in accordance with golf club rules.
24.3 Any damage caused through negligent or improper operation of a golf cart may be the responsibility of the driver, including repair costs, property damage and any resulting personal injury claims.
General Conditions
25.1 The Tournament Committee reserves the right to amend, interpret or add to these Terms & Conditions where considered necessary for the proper conduct of the Championship.
26.1 Participation in the Championship is entirely at the participant’s own risk.
26.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Tournament Committee, Go Golfing, Golfasian, sponsors, host golf clubs and associated suppliers accept no liability for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, expense or other claim arising directly or indirectly from participation in or attendance at the Championship.
26.3 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection legislation.
Format
Maximum HDC for Men is 36 and for Ladies is 45. Players with higher handicaps must play off the maximum permitted handicap.Please note that Tournament Divisions and Grades are subject to change dependent on final event numbers and is determined by the Tournament Committee.
